## Digital identity

- [What is Cl@ve?](https://autonomo.eus/blog/what-is-clave.md): Cl@ve is Spain's shared electronic ID for public services: a user and a password, plus PIN, Permanente and Móvil.
- [Which digital ID should I get first?](https://autonomo.eus/blog/which-digital-id-first.md): The next office decides it: Import@ss names Cl@ve or a certificate; Bizkaia and Álava name Bak, BakQ and certificates.
- [What is the difference between Cl@ve PIN, Cl@ve Permanente and Cl@ve Móvil?](https://autonomo.eus/blog/clave-pin-permanente-or-movil.md): PIN is a short-lived code, Permanente is a password on your DNI or NIE, and Móvil confirms a request in the app.
- [What is Import@ss?](https://autonomo.eus/blog/what-is-importass.md): Import@ss is the Social Security portal and app for procedures such as the self-employed alta and asking for a NUSS.

## Social Security

- [What is a NUSS?](https://autonomo.eus/blog/what-is-a-nuss.md): The NUSS is the number Social Security uses to identify you. Import@ss also calls it the NAF. Asking for it is not the autónomo alta.
- [Are NUSS, NSS and NAF the same number?](https://autonomo.eus/blog/are-nuss-nss-and-naf-the-same.md): Import@ss says the NUSS is also called the NAF. The pages checked do not describe NSS as a third number.
- [What is modelo TA.1?](https://autonomo.eus/blog/what-is-modelo-ta1.md): Modelo TA.1 is Social Security's form for affiliation, a Social Security number, or a change of data. It is not the autónomo alta.
- [What is modelo TA.0521?](https://autonomo.eus/blog/what-is-modelo-ta0521.md): TA.0521 is not on Social Security's current worker-forms list. The self-employed alta is the Import@ss service Alta en trabajo autónomo.

## Residence

- [What is a NIE?](https://autonomo.eus/blog/what-is-a-nie.md): The NIE is the personal, unique foreigner's identity number assigned by the police. It is the number, not the TIE card.
- [What is a TIE?](https://autonomo.eus/blog/what-is-a-tie.md): The TIE is the card that identifies a foreigner in order to prove their legal situation in Spain. The number on it is the NIE.
