# Your first 30 days as an autónomo

**In your first 30 days you file the census form (_declaración censal_) with the Hacienda Foral where you live, register with Social Security on the same start date, and set up TicketBAI before the first invoice.** This free checklist is that order. It is general information, not legal or tax advice, and this site is not a gestoría.

## What the checklist covers

It is ordered. Each line links to the longer page in this guide and, where it matters, to the official service.

- **Before you register:** your right to work, the padrón, a bank account, a digital ID (BakQ from Izenpe, or an FNMT certificate, plus Cl@ve for Social Security), your Social Security number, your activity codes, and the Lanbide grants to read before any registration.
- **Registration week:** the census form at your Hacienda Foral, the Social Security registration (RETA) with the same start date, and the flat fee (_tarifa plana_) if you qualify.
- **Your first month:** TicketBAI before the first invoice, what an invoice has to say, your records, and where to read the first tax deadlines.
- **By territory:** the form, the free invoicing app and the tax calendar in Álava, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa.

The list uses a figure from this guide only when that figure has a checked source. It does not invent a fee, a fine or a deadline.
